- Open Chrome on your computer.
- Click on Profile in the top right corner.
- Select Guest.
In Guest Mode, your browsing activity is not saved on the computer, and you cannot access or modify information from other Chrome profiles. Close the window to exit Guest mode, which deletes your browsing history, cookies, and site data. Use this mode when sharing or borrowing a computer or on a public computer.
Google invites display the location, time of a login attempt, and the device used to detect suspicious activities. For added security, Google attempts to use Bluetooth on new devices. It is recommended to receive validation codes through Google guest invites to avoid hacking via phone number. To block suspicious activities, tap NO in the notification. Use a private browsing window to log in on a phone that is not yours.
Say "Hey Google, enable Guest Mode" to activate it and "Hey Google, disable Guest Mode" to deactivate it. In this mode, Google Assistant automatically deletes audio recordings and does not offer personalized results. On your iPhone, open Settings and tap on Notifications. Select the Gmail, YouTube, Google, Photos, AdWords, or Smart Lock app and enable the Allow Notifications option. Use Google invites to log in with your phone, in addition to the password during two-step verification or to recover your account. If you do not receive an invite, ensure your phone is connected to the internet and that Do Not Disturb mode is off.
Open the quick settings window and tap on User. Choose Remove Guest and confirm by tapping on Remove. To add a new guest or use data from a previous guest, select the appropriate option.
To receive notifications in Gmail, open the app, go to Settings, select your account, and adjust Inbox Notifications as desired. This ensures you do not miss important emails.
