To display your favorites, two methods exist:
- Click on the MENU CHROME icon, then on FAVORITES and FAVORITES MANAGER. The favorites bar will then appear at the top.
- In the address bar, enter chrome://settings. Scroll down to enable the option to Show the favorites bar.
Adding a Favorite Icon to the Desktop
- Open Chrome and in the address bar, enter @bookmarks then press Tab or Space.
- Select More, then FAVORITES, and SHOW THE FAVORITES BAR.
- Add a favorite using the Add to favorites option. If the bar is not visible, use @bookmarks to find your favorites.
Displaying the Favorites Sidebar
In the menu bar, click on Settings, then Appearance. Enable the favorites bar by selecting Always.
Placing Favorites on the Google Toolbar
- Go to the menu, hover over "Favorites," and click on "Add this tab to favorites."
- Select the small padlock and drag it to the favorites bar. To quickly add a page, use the shortcut Ctrl+Shift+B.
Locating Favorites on Your Phone
On your browser, tap the star icon to save the site to Favorites.
Accessing Favorites on a Smartphone
On Android, open Chrome, tap More, then Favorites. Select the desired folder.
Adding an Icon to the Computer’s Home Screen
Press and hold an application and drag it to an empty screen.
Troubleshooting Favorites Visibility
If the favorites bar has disappeared, simply activate the Show the favorites bar option.
Finding the Favorites Icon
Open your browser. The "Favorites" icon is near the address bar. Click on the three dots to see "Show the favorites bar."
