- On your Android phone or tablet, open Google Maps.
- Enter your coordinates using decimal degrees, for example, 41.40338, 2.17403.
- On a computer, right-click on the map to display your coordinates at the top.
- To copy, click on the coordinates. The correct format is 41.40338, 2.17403.
- The latitude should come first, between -90 and 90. The longitude should be between -180 and 180.
- Open Waze.
- Press on the search bar, then select SAVED and ADD A PLACE.
- Enter your destination and tap on the search icon to select it.
- Name the place and press DONE.
- To add a recent trip, swipe up and long-press on the address.
- You can’t modify the address of a saved place, but you can change its name by pressing RENAME next to the place.
- Enable your phone’s location services and authorize Waze.
- Press on MODE, then choose "High Accuracy."
- To troubleshoot GPS issues, follow the instructions to activate LOCATION SERVICE.
- If an error message appears in Waze, repeat the steps, and reactivate the location. Contact Apple or your carrier if the problem persists.
The 3 types of coordinate notations are:
- DMS: 49° 30′ 00″
- DM: 49° 30,0′
- DD: 49,5000°
At the equator, 1 degree is equivalent to 111.319 km, a minute to 1.855 km, and a second to 30.92 m. The universal reference is the WGS 84 geodetic system.
In sexagesimal coordinates, use E or W for longitude and N or S for latitude. Latitude is the angle formed by the equator, while longitude references the Greenwich meridian. GPS coordinates consist of latitude and longitude. Use a map to convert addresses.
Connect your mobile device to Android Auto.
Open Waze and input your destination.
Android Auto will display Waze for navigation.

Manage your saved places by disconnecting your device.
