Why Am I Not Getting a Read Receipt Confirmation?
The absence of a receipt or read confirmation can imply various things. It doesn’t mean your message wasn’t delivered, opened, or read. It simply indicates your requests weren’t met.
Enabling Read Receipts in Outlook
In the "File" menu, select "Options", "Courrier". Under "Suivi", check "Accusé de réception" or "Confirmation de lecture". A read receipt confirms the recipient has viewed the email. If the recipient declines to send a confirmation, you can’t enforce it. In a new message, go to the "OPTIONS" tab in the ribbon, then "DEMANDER UN REÇU DE REMISE" or "DEMANDER UNE CONFIRMATION DE LECTURE".
To see if a text message has been received and read:
- Enable your internet connection and go to the "Chat features" settings.
- Activate "Send read receipts" to check if your message has been read.

Requesting a Read Confirmation for SMS
