Under "Keyboards," press on Virtual Keyboard in the Settings app. Open Language and input. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Settings app.

When switching languages with Gboard, ADDING A LANGUAGE IN GBOARD VIA ANDROID SETTINGS does not affect the language settings of your Android device.

Start by turning on the wireless keyboard receiver. Then, plug it into your computer. This can also be done on a tablet or smartphone. Once connected, confirm the use of this newly detected device. It is only after this step that you should turn on the keyboard with the On/Off button.
